Anna Marie (Zuccalo) Lopardo, beloved wife, of 40 years, of Michael A. Lopardo, who predeceased her in 1978, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Chestnut Hill of East Longmeadow at the age of 105. Anna was born on January 14, 1915, in Indian Orchard, MA, a loving daughter of Dominic and Teresa (Gentile) Zuccalo. She was raised and educated in Springfield, and was a 1932 graduate of the High School of Commerce, before becoming a longtime resident of East Longmeadow. Before fully retiring in 1996, Anna assisted in the family business, Koffee Tyme, in East Longmeadow. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Michael’s Church in East Longmeadow and a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Anna had many hobbies and interests. She enjoyed knitting, sewing, dress making and tending to her flowers and vegetables in the family garden. Anna was an exceptional cook and loved to entertain at the family home. She leaves behind her loving son, Michael Lopardo and his wife, Donna of East Longmeadow; three cherished granddaughters, Jennifer Lopardo of Mount Bethel, PA, Beverly Lopardo of Ludlow, and Karoline Weston and her husband, Brian, of Robbinsdale, MN; and sister, Beatrice Gonnello who is presently residing in New Hampshire. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her siblings, Frank, Anthony, and Sam Zuccalo, Josephine Melega, and Amelia Mazzoli. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, October 30, for a period of visitation for Anna from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., at Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Avenue, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 128 Maple St., East Longmeadow.
