Joyce M. (Bellew) Mycofsky, 68, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday February 27, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield. Born in Springfield to the late John H. and Dorothy M. (Wright) Bellew, she was a 1969 graduate of Technical High School in Springfield and a 1971 graduate of Holyoke Community College. Joyce worked as a Radiology Technician throughout her career, employed for over 17 years at Mercy Medical Center and 17 years at Noble Hospital in Westfield, before retiring in 2006. She was a longtime parishioner of Holy Name Church in Springfield. She also enjoyed many hobbies including ceramics, bingo and line dancing. She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Joan H. Drewnowski and her husband Bernard of Springfield, John T. Riley and his wife Amy of Springfield and Catherine Riley of West Springfield; loving nieces and nephews, Loren (Sam), Tracy (Tim), Stephanie (B.J.), Brandon (Jessica) and Tim; several great nieces and nephews; cousins, Bob and Ralph of Springfield and best friend, Marie Mason of Agawam. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, D. Jeanne Bledsoe in 2007, brother, Danny Riley; nephew, Chris and her faithful companion and friend, her Great Dane, Harley. Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Tuesday March 5th from 10 – 11 AM at the Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave., Springfield followed by an 11 AM service in the funeral home.
