Kenneth C. Fiske

January 23, 1960 ~ November 30, 2018 (age 58)

Kenneth “Ken” Charles Fiske, 58, passed away in the loving care of his family on Friday November 30, 2018. Born in Springfield, MA to Joan A. (Seifried) Fiske and the late Donald E. Fiske, he was a 1977 graduate of Classical High School. Ken served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for six years, receiving two good conduct medals as well as being part of the Presidential Helicopter Squad in Quantico. Ken lived in Indiana for many years and was most recently employed as a school bus routing coordinator for the Clark County School System. Ken took great pride in being a member of the Buckner Masonic Lodge in Indiana. He was a lover of animals, especially his cats and he enjoyed collecting coins over the years. He is survived by his mother, Joan Fiske of Chicopee; his three children, Kelly Hendrick (Jason) of VA and her mother Gloria Fiske-Greer, Joshua Corbisiero of MS and Jonathan Fiske of KY and his mother Teresa Ernspiker; three brothers, Richard Fiske (Anne) of Ludlow, David Fiske (Chris-Ann) of Spfld and Jeffrey Fiske (Lisa) of Somers, CT; half-sister, Donna Bodnar; several nieces and nephews, and by a very dear friend Ken Watson (Tammy) of Indiana. Besides his father, he was predeceased by his sister, Colleen Fiske. Family and friends are invited to meet for calling hours on Tuesday December 4, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave. with a masonic service. Ken’s funeral service will be held Wednesday December 5th starting at 8:45 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 123 William St., Springfield. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Rd., Springfield. Memorial donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Spfld, MA 01104-2396.
