Lillian Mary Landers, 90, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Saturday September 29th at Agawam Health Care. She was born on January 8, 1928, in Sanford, Maine to Lillian Margaret Landers. Lillian was a longtime and devoted communicant of Holy Cross Church in Springfield. She was a warm hearted person, who loved children, and helped raise many foster children over the years. Lillian worked at Goodwill in Springfield and later in the kitchen at STCC. She also volunteered at the Ludlow Senior Center, and in her spare time enjoyed working with ceramics, arts and crafts, crocheting, and needle point. She is survived by several members of the Goldrick family including her cousin, Mary Lou Trow of Amherst and her longtime family friends whom she lived with, Chris Fiske and her husband David and their children David, Jr. and Meghan Fiske, all of Springfield. In addition to her mother, she was also predeceased by Robert and Virginia Goldrick, who were her loving guardians until their passing. Family and friends are invited to meet for a calling hour on Thursday October 4th from 10 – 11 AM at the Hafey Springfield Chapels, 494 Belmont Ave., with a service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
