Paula Dorothy D’Agostino, 79, passed away peacefully at home on Monday October 29th, 2018. Born in Washington, D.C. to the late Samuel and Leah (Rosen) Goldblatt, she was a longtime Springfield resident. Paula was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker over the years and spent countless hours helping in the schools, acting as the President of the Association of Children with Learning Disabilities. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Michele Thomas D’Agostino of Springfield; her three sons, Michael T. D’Agostino and his wife Virginia of Hampden, Louis A. D’Agostino of Springfield and Steven P. D’Agostino of Nantucket; her three siblings, Ruth Orenstein of Florida, Judy Goldblatt and Louis Goldblatt and his wife Hope, all of Springfield; four grandchildren, Michael and Luke D’Agostino and Natalia and Giana D’Agostino and their mother Diane; great-grandson, Xzayvian D’Agostino as well as many dear friends over the years. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, David J. D’Agostino in 2014. Family and friends are invited to meet for a Celebration of Life Service for Paula on Friday November 2nd, 2018 at 12:30 PM at Compari’s Ristorante, 1333 Boston Rd., Springfield.
